This is part 2 of the Media collection contains a number of paintings. This media collection is inspired by an initial painting that I made on newspaper covered canvas. It had a raw feeling and I liked it. On a rough, uneven, irregular surface – it seemed to work.  After-all we’re all imperfect stories unfolding – all influence by media – newspaper, film, television. It colors us, it’s there in our background. Most of these paintings were made on canvas that had been covered in newspaper and then a layer of acrylic binder. A few of the paintings are only partly covered in newspaper.
